The spring conference agenda is structured to keep your time focused on business, industry updates, leadership training, and information exchange on both state and national fronts. There will be plenty of networking opportunities at social events, breaks, and meals. And outstanding achievement will be recognized at the annual NVFC Awards Celebration Saturday night.
New this year is Advocacy Day - a dedicated NVFC program on Capitol Hill (Thursday, May 14)! NVFC directors and state fire association representatives are encouraged to attend this free event.

NVFC Directors and State Fire Service Association Reps Encouraged to Attend!
This is a unique opportunity for the NVFC leadership and state fire service associations to unite, advocate on Capitol Hill, and attend the 2026 Spring Conference. Please join the NVFC for a day to educate Congressional representatives and their staffs on the needs and policy priorities of the nation's volunteer fire service.
- Hosted webinar on best practices for Capitol Hill meetings and scheduling meetings with Congressional offices (April 16, 2pm ET)
- Support with booking meetings with Congressional offices
- Advocacy one-pagers on NVFC policy priorities
- Day-of support including morning briefing and in-person guidance to the Hill
- NVFC "home base" in a House of Representative Office Building

Each year the NVFC honors outstanding achievement in lifetime of service, health and wellness leadership, and in the next generation of firefighters with the national junior firefighter and program awards. These well-deserving individuals will be recognized during this evening of celebration along with years of service distinction given to NVFC board of directors.
