Paul Acosta is a 29 year veteran of the Brush Volunteer Fire Department, a past Chief, and the President of the Colorado State Fire Fighters Association. In 2014, Paul was selected to represent Colorado on the NVFC Board of Directors. He serves on several NFPA Technical Committees. He has been in commercials for First Alert and Anheuser Busch for their drinking water partnership with the NVFC on NBC's Today Show to promote the volunteer fire service. He has held certifications as a Firefighter I, Swift Water Operations, Ice Rescue Operations, HazMat Ops, Storm Spotter for the National Weather Service and Skywarn, EMT, and Extrication Specialist.
