Oklahoma Pipeline Awareness Liaison (OPAL) is a member-driven organization of pipeline operators dedicated to improving public awareness of pipeline transportation and safety. Our purpose is to establish a working liaison between emergency responders and pipeline companies in Oklahoma through enhanced response information and ongoing communications. OPAL introduces emergency responders to the basics of pipeline safety and emergency response. We also provide them with the reference information they need to protect our state’s critical assets and the safety of the communities they serve.
