David Lewis has served as a volunteer firefighter/EMT and past Chief Officer for over 50 years. He is active as an instructor with the National Fire Academy, the Maryland Fire & Rescue Institute, and the University of Maryland Global Campus. He also has served as a training and conference presenter either independently or for the National Volunteer Fire Council at state, regional, and national conference programs. Mr. Lewis is able to apply his life experiences in an environment that shares with others and builds future leadership across the emergency services communities.
