The National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC) will be holding its fall board meeting October 26-28 in Wilmington, North Carolina. NVFC directors, corporate members, and fire service partners will be gathering to network, share ideas, take care of Council business, and address the critical needs that will benefit the volunteer boots on the ground.

There will be plenty of socializing with activities planned and hosted by the North Carolina State Firefighter's Association.

The fall board meeting takes place over two-and-a-half days. Day one includes two optional training sessions followed by days two and three with a mixture of committee meetings and business sessions. Special events include an opening Welcome Reception, NCSFA dinner and the NVFC fundraising auction. Hosted activities take place on Tuesday (golf), Wednesday and Thursday. Spouse/non-meeting guests will enjoy hosted activities all three days and are welcome to join in golf too.
