Warren Jones is the past executive manager of the Delaware Volunteer Firefighters Association. He is currently an active firefighter and vice president of the Rehoboth Beach (DE) Volunteer Fire Company. He started as a junior member of the Elsmere (DE) Fire Company where he held many offices including the ranks of fire chief and president. He is past president of the New Castle County (DE) Volunteer Firefighter’s Association and the Delaware Volunteer Firefighters Association. He twice received the New Castle County Executive’s Excellence in Volunteer Leadership Award. He is an instructor with the Delaware State Fire School and has been inducted into the Delaware Fire Service and the Delmarva Firemen’s Hall of Fame. As a firefighter he received the Medal of Honor for Heroism and four Life Save Awards. He resides in Lewes, DE, with his wife Rosemary, and has a daughter, Ashley, who lives and works in Washington, DC.
