Jeremy is a Fire Training Officer with the Ohio Fire Academy, Ohio's flagship fire training institution. He is a rural fire specialist, working to protect rural and wildland-urban interface communities -- and the firefighters that protect them -- since 1999. As part of the OFA water supply and apparatus operations cadre, he teaches pumps and hydraulics courses, and developed new outreach courses in Tanker/Tender and Brush Truck Operations for rural fire departments. Jeremy is a proud graduate of THE Ohio State University (Forestry, class of '95) and the Executive Fire Officer (EFO) program, and retired from the Navy Reserve in 2012 after 24 years of service. He is also a member of the NFPA Technical Committees on Wildland and Rural Fire Protection (WRP) and Wildland Fire Management (WFM).
