Sandy delivers the life-saving message of early cancer detection to first responders across the country through her work with DetecTogether. A cancer survivor and former volunteer EMT, she understands firsthand the occupational risks faced by the fire service and the critical importance of catching cancer early. With more than two decades of experience in education, Sandy develops practical, action-oriented training that empowers firefighters to advocate for their health. As Senior Director of Programs & Partnerships, she combines lived experience and professional expertise to equip first responders with the knowledge and tools they need to protect themselves and their families.
