Tamara Slade is Senior Manager of Stakeholder Relations – East for AES U.S. Renewables and Power, where she works at the intersection of clean energy development, infrastructure safety, and emergency response coordination. With more than 18 years of experience across renewable energy and telecommunications infrastructure, Tamara partners closely with fire service leaders, local governments, landowners, and community stakeholders to support the safe and responsible development of energy projects.

Working throughout the PJM and SERC regions, Tamara’s role emphasizes early and ongoing coordination with first responders, clear communication around project design and operations, and practical collaboration to support emergency preparedness and public safety. She focuses on ensuring local concerns are heard, trusted relationships are built before issues arise, and projects are developed and operated with community safety and reliability as priorities.

Based in Columbia, Maryland, Tamara brings a community first approach to her work, helping bridge the gap between infrastructure development and needs of the communities AES serves.
