Bill Hopson is a 44-year veteran of the New Jersey fire service. He currently serves with the Beachwood (NJ) Fire Department. He has been an active and engaged fire service instructor since 1982. From 1986 to 2017, he served as deputy fire marshal for Ocean County, NJ. From 1997 to 2004, he was the training coordinator for the Ocean County (NJ) Fire Academy. He is a long-time instructor and presenter at the Fire Department Instructor's Conference in Indianapolis, IN. He has also presented and instructed across the country and in various parts of the world.
